Studying mathematics was my biggest mistake in life up till today

Data science needs a lot of maths, so it's useful.

You can always learn programming and get certified.

I did mathematics and I don't have regrets.

Maths is good biko. Most people that graduated with a computer science degree don't even know how to program.

Studying computer science in Nigerian higher institutions could prove to be a waste of time.

Have a strong solid base in mathematics. You can pick up programming by yourself elsewhere.

Don't waste time and resources in Nigerian universities. The lecturers struggle to understand what they teach coupled with the fact that universities are not well equipped to teach this.

Can't say for all universities though.

Computer science is the way

Mathematics is the bedrock of computer science.
If you are a gifted mathematician, computer science will not be a problem.
